A College for the Community

De Anza College plays an essential role in Silicon Valley, by educating the talented and diverse workforce that makes this region an economic powerhouse and a desirable place to live. In addition to our programs for academic credit and technical training, De Anza offers an array of courses especially designed for for adults and kids in the community.

The college is also home to galleries, performance spaces and other resources that are open to the community. De Anza's campus is a regional landmark, with buildings and grounds that are both beautiful and environmentally sustainable

As a local resident or alumni, you are welcome to take a class, browse the Flea Market or enroll your child in De Anza's year-round child care program. You might make a donation to support De Anza students. You can also rent an event venue or find partners and volunteers for your community service organization. De Anza is truly a community college.

Bookstore

Along with textbooks and school supplies, the Bookstore sells art supplies, computers, De Anza apparel  and other items. It's located in the Registration & Student Services building.

California History Center

California History Center

A registered national landmark, the California History Center offers credit classes, changing exhibits and an archive of material related to regional history.

Child Development Center

The Child Development Center offers child care to the community  for children aged 18 months to 5 years, in conjunction with De Anza's Child Development and Education Department.

Environmental Studies Area

The Cheeseman Environmental Studies Area is an idyllic, 1.5-acre natural reserve, containing hundreds of species of plants that represent 12 California native plant communities.

You'll find visual works by students and community artists, curated around thoughtful themes, at the Euphrat Museum of Art. The museum also provides art education in local schools.

Flea Market

Held the first Saturday of every month – rain or shine – the De Anza Associated Student Body Flea Market raises funds for student activities and programs.

Enjoy concerts, performances and the well-known Celebrity Forum speakers' series at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts, on the northwest corner of campus – just off Stevens Creek Boulevard.

Explore the stars inside De Anza's world-class Planetarium, which hosts weekly astronomy shows, laser entertainment and day-time field trips for students from K-12 schools.

De Anza's Vasconcellos Institute for Democracy in Action (VIDA) partners with community programs to provide opportunities for
students to volunteer and engage in Community Service Learning.

Visual & Performing Arts Center

This 400-seat theater, known as the VPAC, hosts student and community events in an intimate atmosphere – enhanced by a state-of-the-art sound and projection system.
