• Maritza: Shout out to everyone who participated at Homecoming, ~260 people attended the dance and ~50 people attended the pregame social - shout to the clubs that showed up; shout out to Vice Chair of Programs: Darin Djaspri, Dana Sanei and Carys Atmodjo.

• Outdoor Club is going to Yosemite this Winter, sign up at the De Anza Pool this Saturday at noon.

Advisor Announcements

• Maritza: Next week is the last week that clubs should be having meetings; none will be held during Finals or break.  
• Be sure to submit proof of meetings by December 15, 2023 to either Maritza Arreola and/or Maliah Kenoly the ICC Secretary. 
  • Proof of meetings is a requirement to be in good standing for your club. 
  • When submitting proofs for meetings include agenda of meeting + notes, as well as a sign in sheet (for in-person meetings) or a screenshot with meeting attendees and date/time (for online meetings) - both needed for hybrid meetings
  • Documented proof of 2 meetings minumum submitted before December 15, 2023 - Requirements are for clubs that have been active for the fall. If you are a new club try to get 1 meeting in before the deadline.
• Zoom Accounts: Still trying to work it out the process with ETS; aiming to start for next quarter.

ICC Updates

• Sean H - If interested in creating a new club, fill out the constitution and send to Sean Htet, Maritza Arreola and Joel Ng. Your application will be reviewed by ICC at the start of the Winter quarter. 
• Dan G Powercup is launching in the first week of Winter Quarter: ICC collaborated with the coffee shop upstairs to create a special coffee flavor for purchase. 
  • ICC Drink Flavor: Americano with Caramel and can purchased hot or cold. 
• Darin D: Will send a Homecoming Feedback form to know more about likes and dislikes from the events. https://forms.gle/j8TV8ysKhvfX5KYE8
• Micah - BSU: ICC Discord Server inquiry -  Joel mentioned that he will have the Discord Server ready by the first week of the winter quarter.

Winter Quarter Reminders and Q&A

• Club Day
  • Thursday January 25, 2024 (SAVE THE DATE)
  • Back Up Week - Week 3, Thursday, February 1, 2024. 
  • Working to have a DJ to ensure everyone can hear the talented performers as well as announcements. We hear your feedback on the day and time, but lunchtime Thursday has just been the best day for most.
  • Will most likely take place in the Sunken Garden. 
  • RSVP Form will go out the start of the winter quarter. 
• Winter ICC Meetings
  
  • Refer to the ICC Website for upcoming meeting dates: https://www.deanza.edu/clubs/iccmeetings.html
  • Rep Meetings: Cannot sign in for more than one club; one rep for each club. If someone is reaching out to stand in, they should not also be attending for another club. 
  • Agenda meetings are usually Mondays before rep meetings. 
    • If you're thinking about asking for funds for Club Day (supplies, club banner), you MUST attend Wednesday January 10, 2024 Agenda Meeting, and submit a budget request beforehand. 
• Club Meetings
  • If you want to reserve a space for meetings in-person on-campus, you must do so in advance. Start discussing possible times and submit your Meeting Request form as soon as possible!
  • We will have a form to inform us about planned Zoom meetings
• ICC Scholarships
  • Applications for ICC Scholarships are due Monday, February 19, 2024. 
  • Recommendations are due Monday, February 26, 2024. Talk to your potential recommender ASAP!
  • Two (2) $1,000 scholarships which can be accessed through Academic Works very soon. We will update clubs when this is live
• ICC & DASG Elections
  • Elections for ICC and DASG will be taking place in Winter and Spring. 
  • DASG Chair of ICC (Joel's position) is determined by DASG Senate election; ICC Chair positions are decided by all clubs. 
  • Info sessions will start next quarter!

• Maritza A: Good luck on CSU/UC applications!  Don't wait until the last minute to complete, websites crash. Get lots of rest. Be sure to sign in and grab snacks!
