VRC Tabling at De Anza's Open House & Car Show

The VRC team will table at two events on Saturday, May 9th. Friends and family are most welcome!

• De Anza's Annual Open House from 10AM to 1:30PM in the Main Quad.
  • Prospective and new military-affiliated students who are making plans for fall enrollment are encouaged to attend.
    • Coming to De Anza in the fall? Review VRC new student information.

• De Anza's AutoTech Program's Annual Car Show from 9AM to 1PM in Parking Lot E.
  • Meet the teaching faculty, learn about the certificate and degree programs (AA and BS)...and of course, don't forget to checkout the car show.
  • If you want to show your car, plan to register at the gate. 

Career Pathway Events (Multiple)

VA Community Employment Coordinator will be in the VRC from 12-2PM to discuss your career plans, and to provide you with employment resources.

Reminders!

• De Anza's Annual Career Fair will also be on May 6 from 10AM to 2PM in the Sunken Garden. This event is open to all students. Employers interested in tabling should connect with the Workforce Office. 
• The Career Center will host workshops (4/28 Resume Writing Workshop, and more!) to help students prepare for the Career Fair. 

Summer Reg Kick-Off

VRC hosts the Vet Center

• Date: Wednesday, 4/22/26
• Time: 10AM-1PM
• Location: VRC

Vet Center services include counseling for needs such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). They can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

Additional planned visits: 5/14 (10AM-1PM); 6/10 (10AM-1PM)

VRC hosts Santa Clara County Veterans Services Office (VSO)

• Date: Monday, 4/21/26
• Time: 12- 3PM
• Location: VRC 

The Santa Clara County VSO assists our Veteran community in applying for and obtaining compensation benefits through the US Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA). 

Additional planned visits: 5/11 (10AM-12PM); 6/8 (10AM-12PM)

Drop by the VRC to meet our new VRC counselors (11:30AM - 12:30PM), prep for spring registration (Feburary 17th!), and checkout other resources for our veterans, dependants and military affiliated students--FREE school supplies, Math and Physics tutoring, food pantry and coffee bar and more. Asian fusion lunch buffet starts at 11:30AM.

Run, walk, or roll in support of our Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at Foothill College! Every step you take helps us build stronger programs, services, scholarships, and community connections for our military-affiliated students.
