About the Committee

The DASG Administration Committee is responsible for overseeing the administrative, advocacy, and student elections work at De Anza College, including but not limited to:

  • Recruiting and educating DASG office candidates
  • Facilitating election information sessions and moderating DASG elections
  • Marketing and promoting the elections
  • Maintaining the DASG Bylaws and any Resolutions addressed by the DASG Senate
  • Cultivating relationships with other Community College Students
  • Motivating DASG Constituents in responsible citizenship and civic engagement, along with other Objectives, Duties, and Responsibilities in accordance with the DASG Administration and DASG Elections Codes.

   

 

Meetings

The DASG Senate and DASG Committees generally meet the second week of each quarter through the tenth week of each quarter Fall - Spring. They do not normally meet the first week of the quarter, the week before finals, finals week, holidays, breaks, or during the summer. Check the agendas on the meetings page for Zoom details if any.
