About the New Division

Who we are

De Anza College recently engaged in a restructuring that integrated three areas--Library, Distance Learning, and Student Success Center--into a new division, focused on academic support.  Until the dean position for this area is filled, the division is led by Lydia Hearn, Acting Associate Vice President of Instruction and the leaders of the three areas--Judy Mowrey, Linda Elvin, and Gregory Anderson.

What we do

Our main focus is supporting student success.  We do this by integrating out of class academic services with the learning that happens in class.
