- Will – Data Science class test was supposed to be today but likely moved it and must wait.

New/Reactivated Club Applications:College Leap - reactivating + are submitting forms.
- Submitted a constitution and petition.
- Carys: Not directly related to main UC Berkeley chapter anymore.

- Maritza: Suggests not to call it a chapter of College Leap but rather inspired by it. Remove the history as well.
- Internal affairs are also Secretary and ICC Rep.
- College Leap will aim to reactivate with existing account and Ascend will submit forms to be a separate club; forms have not been received yet.
- Sean: Motions to approve College Leap as a club on trial after making the adjustment to the constitution.
- Joel: Joel seconded with no objections.
UNICEF – resubmitted constitution.- Need to discuss – promote existing fundraisers.
- Dan: I motion to approve UNICEF at De Anza.
- Dana: Seconded the motion; with no objections.
Guitar Music Club-
- Dan: I motion to approve Guitar Music Club.
- Joel: Seconded by Joel; no objections.
Circle K Club
-
- All last year, not much activity within the club.
- Darin: I move to approve Circle K as a club to be on trial at De Anza.
- Carys: Seconded the motion.
- Joel: I object; $35 membership fee and does not see the appeal for students if there are other clubs that have volunteer hours for free.
- Dan: People have already signed up with at least 10 signatures showcasing that there is a place for it; should not restrict the club if they already meet the requirements.
- Maritza: Move to Table for Special Meeting this Wednesday, October 11, 2023, 1:30-2:30PM.
Fall Club Day Planning- Marketing: More detail on the flyer; Club Day.
