Course Description

This course is a systematic introduction to the investigation of religious experience, belief, and life under the scope of philosophy. It covers issues such as philosophical accounts of ultimate reality or God, arguments to justify theistic or atheistic belief, rational accounts of the afterlife and religious experiences, the relationship between faith and reason, the nature of religious language, and how to make sense of evil and suffering in the world.
