Emergency Grants for Basic Needs
If you're facing a financial emergency, we may be able to help. De Anza College can provide a limited number of one-time cash grants, up to $750, for students who are struggling with hardship or an urgent expense that may interfere with their education.
Please click the button to download the grant application. After you have completed all the required fields, save the application as a PDF file and send it as an email attachment to dabasicneeds@deanza.edu
If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to apply for financial aid by submitting the FAFSA (or the CADAA if you're undocumented). There is no cost to apply. Visit the Financial Aid website for more information.
Child Development Majors
Students who are majoring in Child Development and Education may be eligible for emergency financial assistance through a separate grant program. Please visit the Child Development department website for the online application form, which is ONLY for students in this major.
